When it was established over 25 years ago, Budget Eyewear caused a sensation, breaking the shackles of a complacent Optical Industry, by offering quality glasses at previously unheard of prices. A quarter of a century later, and now a national chain of over 60 stores, Budget Eyewear's Sydney store is located on the 5th floor of the heritage listed Dymocks Building.
There, a range of over 600 optical frames, priced from as little as $49, to the latest designs from Giorgio Armani, Boss, and Christian Doir, all available at significant savings. Together with the finest quality lenses from Nikon, Hoya, Zeiss and Sola, the spectacles are made on new computerised edging equipment at our own laboratory, and checked and verified using very accurate laser focimeters.
Budget Eyewear can bill your health fund directly, using the Hicaps system, and have special arrangements for Medibank Private, MBF and Govt. Employee's Health Fund members.
Bulk billed eye tests are also available. Budget Eyewear Sydney is open five days a week.
