The backbone of Jang’s Jewellery is award-winning jeweller/designer Ok Jin Jang. Jang’s focus is on designing pieces that accentuate purity and expresses metaphysical concepts such as those seen in her previous works, “Capsule of Dreams”, Sunset at Ayers Rock” and Celebrating Sydney”, “Dancing with Octopus” and “The Galaxy”.

Although coming late into the Australian jewellery industry, Jang gained immediate recognition by winning the Jewellers’ Association of Australia’s Apprentice of The Year Award in 2006. In 2007 she won the International Opal Jewellery Design’s Apprentice of the Year Award and was a finalist in the 2008 Jewellers’ Association of Australia’s Diamond Design Award.

At Jang’s Jewellery you will find an open and friendly atmosphere where you may be assured that your design requirements will be handled with respect and sincerity. Jang’s motto (borrowed from the classical composer Johannes Brahms) is “Without craftsmanship, inspiration is a mere reed shaken in the wind”.

Jang Ok-jin has captured first prize with the work of “Blue Ocean” in the category of Fantasy in the 2013 Gala Award of the International Opal Jewellery Design Award Association (IOJDAA) held in Lightning Ridge on 26 July 2013.
